Soul Skin was my first commissioned branding project—an expressive skincare identity combining natural inspiration with fresh colour, gradients and a premium finish.
Colourful skincare, thoughtfully designed.
A small skincare company in Pakistan approached me to create a logo and packaging identity for its product range. The brand needed to communicate the natural origins of its skincare while still feeling colourful, luxurious and contemporary.
As my first complete branding project, Soul Skin gave me the opportunity to develop an identity across several connected touchpoints, from the central logo and colour palette to patterns, packaging and final product visuals.
My role
Logo design, visual identity, colour direction, pattern design, packaging design and mockup creation.
A symbol of renewal.
The logo uses layered botanical forms to represent natural ingredients, renewal and healthy skin. Fine linework gives the symbol an elegant quality, while its symmetrical structure creates a sense of balance and care.
The mark was designed to work independently or alongside the Soul Skin wordmark across product packaging and branded materials.
Expressive by nature.
Deep plum, botanical teal, radiant yellow, warm orange and soft coral give the identity its distinctive energy. The colours can be used individually to differentiate products or combined through gradients to create a richer, more expressive brand world.
Botanical patterns extend the logo’s visual language across packaging while maintaining consistency throughout the range.
One family, four personalities.
The packaging combines a repeating botanical pattern with flexible colour coding, allowing every product to have its own personality while remaining recognisably part of the Soul Skin family.
This system was applied across skincare tubes, boxes and product sets to demonstrate how the identity could grow with the range.
A beginning worth remembering.
Because Soul Skin was one of my earliest branding projects, the process also revealed areas where I still had room to grow—particularly in precise logo construction and realistic mockup editing.
Recognising those weaknesses became an important part of developing a more considered and technically confident design process. The business did not ultimately grow in the way I had hoped, but the project remains one of my favourites because it marks the beginning of my branding journey.
